SPOKANE, WA - We are pleased to announce that Great Northern University has been granted "Candidate Status" by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS).
TRACS is recognized by both the United States Department of Education (USDOE) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) as a national institutional accrediting agency for Christian post-secondary institutions, colleges, universities, and seminaries.
Being granted "Candidate Status" is a significant step in the process to receiving full accreditation. The faculty and staff of Great Northern University are excited and ready to move through to the third and final step, full accreditation, as soon as possible.
