Residence Life Coordinator

A Pacific Northwest local, Elissa began her long collegiate journey at Ecola Bible College, where she discovered a love for the college-age demographic and recognized the necessity for college ministries in her area. Recognizing the passions God instilled in her, Elissa discerned that her next goal was to pursue a degree in Psychology. To reach this long-term goal, she spent the next two years at community college to fulfill her general education requirements and start a college group at her church. Elissa then transferred to Great Northern University and completed her undergraduate degree.

After graduating, GNU hired her to join the Student Life Department as the Residence Life Coordinator. Elissa now delights in engaging her world through the lives of college students by means of intentional conversations, encouraging life-skill development, and identifying how the Lord is working in their lives through the vessel of academics.

In Elissa’s free time, she loves a slow morning reading a couple of chapters in a book, grabbing a cup of coffee with a friend, hammocking at a local park, and venturing into various creative endeavors.
